Hello there! I hope you all are having an A+ time out there being with your families in these hard times. It might be so hard to stay at home without any hangouts or chill sessions but you know it is really important that you stay home in these times. Just imagine that this is a blessed period for you to break free from that monotonous lifestyle that you had before to get closer with your loved ones. If it had ever been up to you to read the novel ‘Pollyanna’ by Eleanor H. Porter, you must be well aware of the benefits of turning everything in life into happiness, more than anything. 🙂

So into the topic we go! If you read my previous posts, you must remember that in a previous post – “ALL KINDS OF LOVE YOU WANT IN YOUR LIFE” – I stated about three kinds of love that are essential for you to have in your life. So here I am presenting out one of those kinds in detail. And that is self-love. Now loving yourself may seem really easy but trust me it can get harder than anything in the world if you train your mind against it. Firstly I would start with a briefing of how you can lose self-love, and then little information about what can happen when you lose it, and finally I intent to give you some advises about overcoming it.

Self-love can easily be lost in situations where you don’t see the value of you anymore. This can be caused by a little fact that you hear about yourself which is an utter fault of the eyes of your surrounding people. Perhaps you might be having negatively peers around you. Or in some cases you might continuously worry on the bad decisions you made in the past, or maybe you might be thinking of your future and comparing yourself with your goals which you would like to achieve but not do any work towards accomplishing them. Losing self-love can start from a very little flash and it can come up to a certain place where it can cause you depression as you might endlessly keep worrying about tiny things that make you look like no better than others. I just don’t know whether a person with a loss of self-interest may see this but it only takes that person to his grave if he is unable to overcome it. Even if you start doing some work, you might get the feeling that there could have been a way better than that of you are performing now, or possibly you might bear good thoughts of your past way of doing it. For instance you might be gaining weight and you might want to lose weight again but what you keep doing is that worrying over the fact that you gained weight instead of acting on it in order to lose weight. That’s quite bad right?
Simply, what happens here is that you start to compare yourself to somebody else who might look like better than you or you might even compare yourself to past you whom you think performed better than the person you are now. Losing self-love also means losing self-esteem and it can lead to the destruction of your life as I mentioned earlier. You can develop this little flashing self-hating moment to utter disappointments in your life which has probably caused of embracing anxiety, depression, personality disorders etc. So can you get rid of this vexing situation? Yes! You can, and here is a little inspiration for that.

People are different from each other…

The first and foremost thing you have to keep understanding is that not everyone is the same. Therefore comparing yourself to others is useless. People are different in what they get in this life in many ways – by looks, by achievements everything! All you have to do is to be thankful for this life that you have got. If you thoroughly there might be someone out there having a harder life than you. Not to be happy by looking at another suffering of something, but my point is that there is no use of comparing yourself to people who seem like better than you because there are tons of people wanting to be you, and craving that they had the life you are having. And the positive side of this is that each and every person has a strong spot in their lives and you just have to figure out what that is! You have to explore what makes you happy and what makes you YOU and trust me if you follow this you can be the happiest person on earth. You know self-satisfaction, right? That is what you should ultimately achieve. You should learn how to be satisfied with you, what have you got and what are you up to. And if you want to climb up more in the ladder, you just have to figure out how to do it in your way. Remember; people are different and you have to be different to make a mark!

Nobody is perfect!

Time to time people can have falls in their lives and it is acceptable that you fail sometimes. You don’t have to be 100% perfect in life. That doesn’t mean that this is an excuse for the bad things you do. 😏 It just means that if you have gone through some bad thing, it is totally okay, you just have to deal with it to get over it and to keep in mind that you will not get repeated to fall again. Even with choosing friends, or even a life partner there might be so many mistakes that you could make and those mistakes don’t have to ruin your life by being around you forever. You are the person who must be responsible to let them go. It may be hard but it’s possible! Sometimes you might keep worrying that everybody else is perfect and you are the person to blame for that. Nope, everybody might get even at least one chance in their life that they have to fall. If Walt Disney had the inspiration to believe in himself and make him one of the most successful people on the planet, so can you! You just gotta believe that you can. And remember that it is okay to get help from trusted people. It doesn’t mean that you are weak but at all it means that you need a little push to carry yourself go beyond the situation.

Here’s a little inspiration quote to make your mind:

Act. Act. Act. Act. Act.

You have to try harder to get something done. So, if you wanna get out of this zone which you see yourself as unloving, you need to act, act, act! Just get a journal or something, and start writing the thoughts that come up to your mind about what you don’t like in yourself in it. For instance as soon as you start to feel low about yourself even on a tiny incident, write all your thoughts about how you look at yourself in that certain situation. At the end of writing you will realize that there must be some loophole in this that you can stop being guilty, or stop blaming yourself for something. You can also write this journal before you go to bed looking back at the day on how your thoughts about yourself turned out to be. You can also see a therapist but is it really essential? After all, you are the person who knows about yourself more than anyone in the world and things should work by the way you want yourself to be!

Oh and one more thing. Do not forget to smile at yourself. Right after you wake up, go to the mirror and smile at yourself. Tell yourself that you are beautiful and you can do today in a great way! 🥰
